POSITION TITLE:  Travel Program Specialist -



REPORTS TO:  Director of Operations


The Travel Program Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining multiple group travel reservations.


Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  • Learn and embrace ACTS’ mission

  • Learn and master operational procedures

  • Research and establish business relationships with vendors

  • Regularly negotiate contracts

  • Maintain detailed records within database

  • Purchase tickets as required

  • Work effectively with all internal departments to ensure quality customer service and satisfaction

  • Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as requested




·        Proficiency in Microsoft Products


·        Travel industry experience (preferred/not required)


·        Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills

·        Excellent oral and written communications skills

·        Excellent customer service skills

·        Able to work independently and with the team

·        Able to think clearly and make sound decisions

·        Highly self-motivated
