POSITION TITLE: Travel Program Specialist -
FULL-TIME
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Travel Program Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining multiple group travel reservations.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties

Learn and embrace ACTS’ mission

Learn and master operational procedures

Research and establish business relationships with vendors

Regularly negotiate contracts

Maintain detailed records within database
-
Purchase tickets as required
-
Work effectively with all internal departments to ensure quality customer service and satisfaction

Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as requested
Qualifications:
Knowledge:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Products
Experience:
· Travel industry experience (preferred/not required)
Skills/Abilities:
· Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
· Excellent oral and written communications skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Able to work independently and with the team
· Able to think clearly and make sound decisions
· Highly self-motivated
