Occasionally, a Program will have a CASH meal. Overall, there are very few as we prefer to have all included meals be reservation driven.
If a group’s itinerary includes a CASH meal, our standard practice is to send the check for the meal(s) to the school in advance; they then cash the check and distribute the cash to the participants accordingly.
Since it is an included meal, the EPL is sent a check as well to cover their own CASH included meal(s). In the past, we have gotten that check to the EPL in advance of the programs departure. Beginning March 2023, we will no longer send the check in advance to cover those cash meals. Rather, the money to cover the included CASH meal(s) will be combined with EPL reimbursements at the conclusion of the Program.You will not need to request it. If it is a part of your Program, it will automatically be included with reimbursements.
