Terminal C for a United group arriving...I was not able to have the motorcoach pick up at the baggage level. I was advised to go up to the 3rd floor and have our driver meet us on that level. It worked great and wasn't as busy as floor 2 would have been.

Food trucks are lined up along the length on Constitution Avenue. I thought the prices have increased significantly. Plan to spend $15 and possibly more. Waffle ice cream cones are $8 as an example. A Gyro sandwich $15 and that did not include a drink. You are now able to enter as well as exit the museum on Constitution in addition to the standard mall entrance side on Madison.

Timed entry on Independence Ave. They will not let you in until the time on your reservation. We were in a line of 200-300 people. We arrived 5 min before our time and my group was just wrapping around the corner of the block immediately west of the museum. It only took about 12 min to get inside and there was no security or bag check. We were waived through.

The Hoover Dam garage, on the Nevada side where we enter our groups for the film and tour of the dam, closes at 4:15 pm now. If you are visiting Hoover Dam in the afternoon, you will need to begin here with group drop off and have your driver leave and park in a lot on the AZ side of the dam. You will need to walk your group to that parking area when finished with the late afternoon visits. The large restrooms are currently closed in the parking garage, so your groups will need to use the restrooms after going through security on the lower level before the movie. Before arriving to unload the luggage at the hotel prior to visiting the dam, be sure to call the hotel to let them know you are coming. They would not issue a key this time for our luggage storage room. The manager had to open the room for us and reopen the room when we returned. This can eat into your timing since we now have to wait on them to open and reopen.

The IMAX just revealed its updated movie. The beginning is a heavy Native American viewpoint along with Native American Narration and old age earth. The rest is similar to the former movie including the John Wesley Powell expedition. Personally, I preferred the previous version.

The drivers must show a paper copy of their forms to enter through the Park Kiosk where we pay to enter the park. This is in addition to the EPL paying. A copy of the form on the driver's phone is not sufficient, they must have it printed out. Your drivers could possibly print their form at the hotel prior to Grand Canyon day if they don't have a paper copy. The ranger let the driver's phone copy pass this time, but he wasn't going to let us enter. Also, the restrooms at Desert View Watchtower are currently closed. They have portable restrooms if need be. My group didn't want to use the portables, so we found a nice service station about 30 min heading toward Flagstaff for a restroom stop. The South rim trails are open, but due to heavy snowfall, some of the trails are snow covered and icy. For anyone visiting soon, you may want to avoid the walk through the forest to Park Headquarters. We avoided that and had the coach pick us up before that area. There are many areas the coach can drop for rim overlook views.

I haven't been to the Army Museum. Any advice on the best way to navigate?

The Grand Canyon Village Map shows both the historic village and market plaza/park headquarters area. The Market Plaza houses the General Store. Yavapai Lodge houses the Dining area (currently closed), Tavern, and Coffee Shop.

If you are dining in Market Plaza/Park Headquarters area, here are the available options: Market Plaza Deli and General Store as well as the Yavapai Tavern. The Yavapai Dining Hall is closed - they don't know when it will reopen. The Coffee shop is open until noon.

Last week there were three options available with more coming soon! Chopsticks - Subway - Auntie Anne's. Another one should have opened this week. I had called ahead and they were appreciative and were ready for us!
