Just want you as our EPL Team to see what we're sharing with all of the students and parents you will be meeting over the next few months...get ready!! They are coming! As the President of American Christian Tours, I want to share how excited we are for those who are registered for an upcoming Education Program. This past weekend, we hosted our annual Education Program Leader (EPL) training in the Washington DC area. It was such an amazing time to be with our entire EPL team as they prepare to lead each person on the adventure of a lifetime. They’re so ready, and so excited to share this beloved city, now more than ever!
As usual, the EPL training team stayed overnight in one of our wonderful Virginia hotel properties, then made the 20 +/- minute trek into our nation’s capital city. We walked on Capitol Hill, stopped to pray for our leaders, visited some of our favorite memorials, and checked out a great lunch spot. Here is a picture of our EPL team on the ground this past weekend.
We can confirm that while there is a vaccine mandate that only impacts indoor dining for restaurants under the jurisdiction of the District of Columbia, there are locations outside of that jurisdiction in which mandates do not apply. Entrance to museums and memorials are not impacted by the current mandate. Therefore, normal access to restrooms is unaffected. (That’s a pretty important detail!!)
Our incredible office team is constantly at work making sure that your needs and best interest will be served with the same excellence that has been an ACTS hallmark for nearly 40 years. To provide an enjoyable and nutritious meal, they have relocated all dinner reservations to restaurants in neighboring Virginia. They are also securing tickets for the various museums and attractions the group will be visiting. I’m humbled to lead a team of people who work tirelessly and so faithfully to make sure that every detail is in place to ensure an incredible experience.
It’s no secret that the last two years have presented unbelievable challenges. Thankfully, by God’s grace, we have been able to surmount many of those challenges so we can continue to live out the mission of ACTS to serve you, our customer, with godly integrity and excellence. It would be in no one’s best interest to intentionally lead our valued passengers down a path that would tarnish, if not ruin, our integrity.
