FYI: Since you must exit the cemetery via the big gates and not through the VC, the Women’s Memorial is a wonderful stop! And they have bathrooms and a gift shop. Also, even though the Custis Lee Mansion is closed, the restrooms behind the house beyond the gardens are open. The walking pattern around the Tomb is VERY strict. And if you arrive at the Tomb after 20 minutes prior to the changing, security will not allow you to use the Tomb bathrooms. Also, you may not exit on that side as well. You must walk off the opposite side.
