On the South front of the White House the security fence has moved back to the sidewalk where the National Christmas Tree is at. However, you can’t use that sidewalk from 15th St over to the tree you have to go down by the kiosk (bathrooms) and then go back up to the sidewalk. I think it is better to take the sidewalk near the Boy Scout statue and walk into the Ellipse field and then walk North because of the wooden fence you can’t see it well unless you back up. Or you can or get dropped off closer to Constitution on 15th and take the sidewalk that angles NW and then cross the field and up. There is a large section of grass fenced off for what looks like grass recovery. Nice thing is there is plenty of room to pray!
