Who wants to print out nearly a 1/5 of a ream of paper? None of us!
Early in January, the Holocaust Museum opened their portal for ALL the people in the world who wanted tickets to scramble to get in and get what they needed. ACTS had all hands-on deck. Each of us was armed with lists, credit cards, information. The clock struck and boom we were off like racehorses. Needless to say, it was quite complicated. Their system crashed. We worked to get group tickets first - when those were gone, we worked to get individual tickets. The amazing positive thing is that all of our groups were ticketed. We all had a few additional gray hairs, but the job was done!
So. Some of you might have a scan for a group of people. Some of you might have several scans - each for more than one. Some of you might have an individual ticket scan for each person.
The question is can you have the scans on your iPad, phone or device - instead of printing out all that paper? Yes. You can. According to our contact at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum -
"If the EPL has the Holocaust tickets on their phone they can scan them from there, they do not need to be printed off." The important thing to know is if you have group, multiple group, or individual tickets. If you have group you may be able to get everyone in on one scan. If you have multiple groups - you may have several small groups and several scans to present. If you have individual, you might have to stand there and scroll and scan 75 saved images of tickets on your phone but it is an option and beats printing out 75 pages. Let us know how this works!
Oh, hallelujah and happy dance! I did not want to print 75 individual pages of tix! Great job and kudos to the office getting all of those groups ticketed!!!!!
