ACTS' Partnership with Summit Ministries

American Christian Tours offers a unique opportunity to explore historical sites and reflect on the importance of living "for such a time as this." By traveling with intention, individuals can gain a deeper understanding of history and the impact one person can have on the world around them. Through their tours, American Christian Tours emphasizes the message that each person has been given Only One Life, and encourages individuals, with God's help, to make a difference in the world they live in.

Summit Ministries focuses on helping people approach and understand life from a Christian, biblical worldview. Through the study and application of apologetics, Summit Ministries provides a solid foundation for people to feel confident in a biblical worldview. Their mission is to equip individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to defend their faith and engage with the world around them.

Together, Summit Ministries and American Christian Tours can provide a comprehensive approach to understanding and engaging with the world from a Christian worldview. By equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to defend their faith and understand history, they empower individuals to make a positive impact on the world around them.

ACTS Worldview Programs

Are you ready for an unforgettable experience that will deepen your understanding of Christianity and the world around you?  Look no further than American Christian Tours.  Our two specially designed worldview tours offer unique opportunities to explore other religions and sites and compare their beliefs to a biblical Christian worldview.

The Survey of World Religions program in Boston and The World Views in the Wild program in New York City provide perfect laboratories for worldview analysis. Join us for one or both of these provoking journies that will broaden your horizons and leave you with a newfound appreciation for truth based on God's Word.

Worldviews in the Wild Tour Program
(recommended for 11-12th grade as a capstone to Summit’s Understanding the Times and Understanding the Culture)

  • Learn to identify and analyze worldviews in action as you are immersed in the hustle and bustle of a modern American city.

  • Visit a wide variety of sites throughout the city and engage with individuals with diverse views.

  • Enjoy friendly competition with your classmates as you work to sharpen your worldview thinking.

  • Grow in your faith and love for God and others as you participate in both service and worship with people from very different backgrounds.

New York City

"One of our goals for our students is for them to instinctively weigh every message they consume against God’s Truth. The focused, intentional exposure and discussion of competing worldviews on our Worldviews in the Wild trip provided guided practice in observing and evaluating worldview expressions. The experience tied what the students learn in the classroom to day-to-day life, and the skills the students solidified on this trip will serve them well long into their adult lives."

Reading Bible

"Our students came away from the Survey of World Religions with a better understanding of a wide variety of faith tradition, a burdened heart for the people they interacted with who do not have God’s Truth as a foundation for life, and gratefulness for parents, churches, and schools who do teach them truth. Many students and parents state that this trip is the most impactful out of all the out-of-classroom experiences we do."

Survey of World Religions Tour Program
(recommended for 9-10th grade as a capstone to Summit’s Foundations and Understanding the Faith)

  • Visit places of worship for a variety of faith traditions and interact with their beliefs about God, humanity, and much more.

  • Strengthen your own theological convictions through question-and-answer sessions with believers of different religions.

  • Develop your critical thinking and discipline as you strive to bring every thought captive to the Word of God.

I recently participated in an ACTS student tour program with my son that focused on various religions and worldviews, all while allowing us to observe them through a Christian lens. The experience was enlightening and gave us a deeper understanding for diverse beliefs. I highly recommend this program to any student seeking to broaden their horizons and engage thoughtfully with the world around them, while strengthening their own Christian faith.
