  American Christian Tours is committed to partnering with Christian schools to teach and train the next generation for Christ. 

Our Education Program Leaders infuse each of our programs with godly principles and biblical worldview.  Our exclusive training tool entitled, The Big Idea!, integrates the core virtues of humility, responsibility, compassion, integrity, and many more, into each site visited while on our programs. 

These virtues and character building blocks of great leaders from our past must be taught to our students as we inspire them to become the  world changers for today.  This training is designed to reinforce the foundation stones being laid daily in your school.

WE HAVE THE BEST FINANCIAL PROTECTION
All of our participant’s monies are held in a trust account managed by an outside accounting firm. The account is not self-administered. We are not able to access the account until after the completion of your education tour program.

There is no better protection than that. None.

WE HAVE TRAINED, LICENSED 24-HOUR EDUCATION PROGRAM LEADERS
Our helpful, friendly Education Program Leader is with your group 24 hours a day. From the moment you arrive to the moment you depart - we are there.

ACTS Education Program Leaders are trained by our Director of Education, Christian historian and author, Dr. Marshall Foster. ACTS Education Program Leaders are all licensed by the District of Columbia government.

This evening program will introduce your group to a Christian from our nation’s rich history as an actor portrays a period from that character’s life.

ACTS Solid Financial Protection

Every student tour company will provide a trust account for client funds. Trust accounts are usually required by state law. As far as we know, ACTS  and its sister company are the only student education tour program operators to provide the unmatched financial protection of an FDIC insured bank trust account administered by an independent firm of Certified Public Accountants (CPA's) for our client funds.

Other student tour operators offer self-administered trust accounts. The account is administered by, and accessible to, the tour operator itself. One student tour operator that went out of business only a few years ago did so leaving students and their parents out almost eighteen million dollars.

When you send money (except usually for the deposit, which is paid directly to ACTS but never exceeds ten percent of the trip price) to ACTS it is held in an FDIC insured trust account administered by Anderson, Hager & Moe S.C., CPA's, an independent firm of Certified Public Accountants. Anderson, Hager & Moe pays major trip expenses as they come up. ACTS is only paid what is left in the account five business days after  the scheduled completion of your education program. The incredible peace of mind this provides costs no more. As a matter of fact ACTS Education Programs are usually less expensive than tours of the same length provided by other student tour operators.
 


ACTS Christians In History Program
ACTS 
began its first "Christians In History"  season in 1993.   Each year since then we have picked a character from America's past whose Christian testimony sets them apart. We then have worked with an actor or actress to portray the character and develop an appropriate script. The actual "one man show" (or "one woman show") is performed on an evening in Washington, D.C. when groups return back to the hotel relatively early, and almost always immediately follows a hotel dinner function. The performance generally lasts about 45 minutes.

Past characters have included Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Abigail Adams, Stonewall Jackson, and George W. Carver.

Our current character is Dr. George Washington Carver. "Dr. Carver" speaks with the students as though they were reporters gathered to hear about his day testifying before a Congressional committee. He speaks on everything from his slave roots, to his education, to the discrimination he faces, to his monumental work with the peanut, and why he calls his laboratory "God's little workshop". 

We are thankful for of our "Christians In History" program. It has been well received by the students and gives us an opportunity to show a side of American history that is not usually seen.
